Collin College Farmersille Fall

Running for Joy

by | Dec 2, 2021 | Latest, Sports

The ride is almost over for FHS senior Brady Tidwell.

Serving as a captain on both the football and basketball teams, Tidwell has loved the opportunity to represent Farmersville in his senior season.

With two weeks away until the start of district play in basketball, Tidwell said he appreciated the time to play the sports he loves.

“I’m a little sad,” he said. “I’m going to be sad when it’s over, but I’m trying to have fun throughout my senior year. I’m excited to go out and play my favorite sport this year.

Tidwell was a big contributor on the football team this season, serving as their bell cow running back in a run-first offense. He finished with 1,260 rushing yards and 19 touchdowns on 203 carries. Tidwell said he enjoyed being a focal point of the offense, stepping up to the occasion.
