Farmersville loses to Rains

The Lady Farmers struggled on offense against Emory Rains Tuesday night in a 46-31 loss.

In their first game in two weeks, Farmersville (5-3) fell behind earl, They trailed 11-6 at the end of the first quarter and 22-11 at halftime.

The Lady Farmers responded well in the second half, keeping pace with the Lady Wildcats in the third quarter to remain down 11.

It wasn’t enough, however, as Rains outscored Farmersville 15-11 in the fourth quarter to win by 15 points.  The Lady Farmers will compete at the Great East Texas Shootout in Brownsboro this weekend before starting district play against Community next Tuesday, Dec, 14.
