Farmers soccer ready for new start

by | Dec 23, 2021 | Latest, Sports

An experienced roster and an eager, first-time head coach may be the winning combination for the boys soccer team’s fourth season.

Coach Wade McCroan says he is excited for the opportunity to lead a team.

“Being the coach of the soccer team has been a pretty cool experience,” McCroan said. “I played soccer when I was younger and played up until I was about 13-14 but I started focusing on other sports once I got to high school. It’s always been something I’ve been passionate about, and now I’m excited to get started.”

McCroan inherits a team that struggled through the 2021 season, finishing 2-23-1 overall and going 0-12-1 in district play.
