Trying to turn around their early district woes, the Farmersville boys basketball team couldn’t keep up with Terrell in the 59-33 loss Tuesday night.
The Farmers (0-3, 11-12) lost their third straight district game to start the new year. It was a close game early, with the team down just five points at halftime, but Terrell outscored Farmersville 36-15 in the second half.
Tre Brewer led the team in scoring, finishing with 13 points, while Jordan Herring added 10.
Farmersville will host district leader Kaufman this Friday.
