Farmersville moves district in UIL realignment

The Fightin’ Farmers football team will see new district opponents in the UIL 2022-24 realignment announced Thursday.

Farmersville will play in District 5-4A Division II beginning the 2022 season. The district will be a seven-team district featuring Aubrey, Bridgeport, Gainesville, Krum, Sanger and Van Alstyne. Aubrey and Van Alstyne made the playoffs last season.

In basketball and volleyball, Farmersville will play in District 14-4A. Essentially unchanged, the Farmers will welcome Wills Point and lose Terrell from the previous alignment.
