Farmersville recently endured what Police Chief Mike Sullivan called an “unprecedented” weather event, the city council learned at its most recent regular meeting.
Sullivan, who serves as the city’s emergency services coordinator, delivered on Feb. 8 what amounted to an after-action report to the council, telling council members that the real heroes are the four men who struggled through freezing rain and sleet to restore power to the city’s residents.
