Michael Daigrepont has what one could describe as an “Olympic dream” that he and a group of Farmersville Junior High School students are about to achieve.
They will enter the VEX Robotics World Championship in May in downtown Dallas to determine whether they are the best in the world at building robots that fulfill whatever mission they are programmed to perform.
“It’s the largest such competition in the world,” Daigrepont said, adding that “it is comparable in size to the Olympics”
