City cleans up concession stand

by | May 5, 2022 | Area news, Latest

Farmersville’s J.W. Spain Complex concession stand, after months of work and a bit of angst, is “almost done,” City Manager Ben White informed city council, which moved quickly through its brief public agenda at its April 26 meeting.

“The concession stand is being used right now,” White said, adding that the “Little League is happy with it. They are using it.”

The concession stand has gone through an extreme makeover as the city has sought to make it more useable for youth activities. White told council that the concession stand still needs large worktables and said city crews are going to paint some of the surfaces that still need work.

The council’s next regularly scheduled meeting will occur on May 10.
