Fun times for area students

School is out for the summer, but Farmersville Independent School District is making sure the fun goes on while classrooms at its four campuses are closed for its annual break.

Summer camps abound for students of all ages within the FISD and beyond, says the district website.

For students interested in STEM (Science, Technology, Electronics and Mathematics), FISD recently opened its Technology Center, and the district is offering STEM camps for incoming third through sixth grade students this summer starting the week of June 27.
