Farmersville Police Lt. Marsha Phillips is about to take on two new titles, one of which she is acutely aware, the other of which she admits to bringing her just a touch of discomfort.
Phillips will become chief of the Farmersville Police Department on Oct. 1. She assumes the role with the glowing endorsement of the man she is succeeding, Michael Sullivan, who is taking on new responsibilities as assistant city manager.
