Turnovers can flip the script in a hurry, and they hurt the Farmersville football team Friday night.
The Farmers (0-1 in 5-4A Div. II, 2-3) five times in their 42-21 home defeat. The Bulls (1-1 in 5-4A Div. II, 4-2) were able to take advantage, scoring 21 points off of turnovers. Overall, the teams were almost even in total yardage and first downs gained.
Jeralin Craddock gave the Farmers the first lead of the game, as the offense scored on its first possession. He scored on a 66-yard touchdown pass from Caden Norman, who threw for 170 yards in the game. Craddock had two touchdowns in the contest.
Farmersville hopes to regroup next week as they travel to Gainesville Friday night.
