It’s that time of year when fall events fill up the calendar and there’s no doubt Farmersville has got it going on.
History fans can visit the Bain Honaker House Saturday, Oct. 15 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for its second annual Fall Fest event.
On tap at this year’s event will be live music, demonstrations, old fashioned games, food and a yard sale.
According to Farmersville Historical Society President Bertie Neu, demonstrations include spinning, scrimshaw carving, churning and crochet. For a $10 fee, visitors can create and take home their own T-shirt using indigo dye.
