Farmersville season ends with loss to district-champion Aubrey

by | Nov 3, 2022 | Latest, Sports

Farmersville’s season comes to a close after a 59-0 loss to district champion Aubrey Thursday night on the road.

The Chaparral’s (6-0, 8-2) stout defense held the Farmers (0-6, 2-8) to just 18 yards of total offense and forced three turnovers in the game. A fumble on the opening drive of the game set Aubrey at the Farmersville 41, which they scored their first of three first-quarter touchdowns two plays later.

In total, Aubrey amassed over 500 yards of offense in the game. As one of the top-ranked teams in Class 4A, the Chaparrals will gear up for a playoff run starting next week. The Farmers are set to graduate 12 seniors from their varsity roster.
