Leadership changes announced at FISD

by | Jan 19, 2023 | Area news, Education, Latest

Farmersville ISD announced three new leadership changes last week that became effective Tuesday, January 17.

Tad Myers moved into a new role as the district’s Coordinator of CTE (Career and Technical Education) and Special Projects, Nicole Hicks was named the new principal of Farmersville Intermediate, and Cristi Uland will assume the principal role at Tatum Elementary.

“I am honored to be the Coordinator of CTE and Special Projects,” Tad Myers said. “This new role will allow me to achieve one of my personal goals of helping as many students as possible. While I know I will miss seeing my Intermediate students’ faces daily, I am confident they will be in the absolute best hands with Mrs. Nicole Hicks as their principal.”

“We’re excited about the unique skills and talents these three individuals bring to these new roles,” Superintendent French stated. “All three are going to continue to do great things for kids.”
