In a winner-take-all moment, the Farmersville defense came through in a big way down the stretch.

Farmersville shut down Community’s offense Friday night, winning 35-24 to reach the postseason. It was the second time in a row Farmersville beat Community to end the season, as both teams were tied at 5-7 in district play.

Onto the playoffs, Farmersville will face Roosevelt High School in Dallas in the bi-district round of the state playoffs, at a date and time to be determined.
