FISD names elementary, secondary teachers of the year

Farmersville ISD recognized the top two educators in the district during a special school board meeting on Tuesday, May 23.

Tatum Elementary first-grade teacher Jennifer Holbrook and seventh-grade math teacher Angela Arnett were named Farmersville Independent School District Elementary and Secondary Teacher of the Year. Holbrook said winning the title was “an honor and blessing.” Arnett, too, was “deeply honored” and thanked her colleagues for recognizing her hard work.
