As area youth enjoy the last days of summer break, planning and preparations for the 2023-24 school year are in full swing for the estimated 2,100 Farmersville ISD students expected to attend the first day of classes Tuesday, Aug. 8.
At Farmersville High School, bond project work continues as district facilities are improved for the growing community. Principal David Warren said the interior of school will be ready to welcome its 670 students for in-person classes, “but the exterior will still appear fully under construction, potentially causing disruptions in parking availability, school entrance changes and a generally dusty exterior.”
