With the first few weeks of school already in the books, a new house bill has added some additional consequences for high school students.
House Bill 114 was signed into law in June. According to the bill, students may be removed, expelled, or placed in a Disciplinary Alternative Education Program (DAEP) for the possession or use of marijuana or e-cigarettes on school property.
