The Farmersville Rotary Club, acting on the advice of one its members who happens to be Farmersville’s Chief of Police, has temporarily suspended a community service project aimed at cleaning up Farmersville.
Police Chief Marsha Phillips said she is uncertain on when the Codes of Compassion project will resume. First, though, the city must deal with the issue that caused the suspension in the first place; an abundance of trash being brought into the city from its extraterritorial jurisdiction and beyond.
