Two schools in Farmersville are now helping students that may need meals on days when school is not in session.
“Backpack Buddies” is an initiative at Tatum Elementary and Farmersville Intermediate School (FIS) that gives children access to food items during the weekend when they do not have access to food from the cafeteria.
