Farmersville wins match against Kaufman

The Lady Farmers continue to keep pace with district leading Sunnyvale ((25-7, 6-0) after beating Kaufman 3-0 (24-24, 25-18, 25-22) in a close match.

The Lady Lions (18-14, 3-3) did not go away easily and it took 38 kills to put them away and give the Lady Farmers another district win.

Coach Arian May was pleased with the result and is looking forward to starting the second half of district matches including facing Quinlan Ford on Tuesday, Oct. 3.

“We had a great first round,” said May, “but we are ready to take on everyone for a second time and improve each game.
