Chris Hill made a promise to the Farmersville Rotary Club, which is that for as long as he is county judge, Collin County will resist falling into a “progressive” political posture that turns its back on law enforcement.
Hill, serving his second term as county judge, spoke to the Rotary Club at its regular meeting Tuesday, Oct. 3. He declared that he has enjoyed “almost every bit” of his public service but noted that many of the plans he had in store for the county were “put on the shelf by the COVID” pandemic in 2020 and 2021. Hill was elected county judge in 2018 and re-elected in 2022.
