A letter drafted by the law office of Stephen E. Dubner, representing Farmersville ISD, has been sent to Texas Education Commissioner Mike Morath in which the district has unveiled inequities in the current school accountability system.
The issue was explained by Superintendent Micheal French at the Monday, Oct. 23 regular school board meeting in which he described current methodologies used in calculating school district ratings as having a “formulaic advantage” to some districts, and specifically to charter schools.
