The Farmersville Fightin’ Farmers basketball team tipped off their season last week with a pair of home games. After coming up with 38-34 win over their neighbors, the Bland Tigers, the Farmers dropped their Saturday contest against Gainesville to open the year 1-1.
Despite the roster having to adjust from the football season, the Farmers were able to find their groove in the season opener. Down by four in the second quarter, Farmersville’s Jeralin Craddock came up with a hustle play to turn the momentum around.
