After starting the soccer season with a pair of December losses, the Farmersville Lady Farmers opened the new year on a much better note with two wins last week. Despite having multiple players out with the flu, the girls took down Quinlan Ford on Tuesday, Jan. 2, thanks to a big game from sophomore Natalie Taylor.
Taylor tallied a pair of first-half goals, with junior Ashlynn Clark assisting on one to give Farmersville a 2-0 lead at the break. From there, the Lady Panthers stormed back with two goals of their own, but the Lady Farmers would not be denied as Taylor completed the hat trick with her third score of the night to get the 3-2 victory.
