Last week’s basketball ac­tion for the Farmers featured a pair of losses, as the guys re­main winless in district play. After a lopsided loss to Quinlan Ford early in the week, Farm­ersville found themselves in an epic showdown with and the Caddo Mills Foxes on Friday.

While the Foxes did prevail 84-72, the Farmers fought hard in one of their top scoring ef­forts of the year. It was game where Farmersville had every chance to take the win, but just couldn’t hit shots down the stretch when it mattered most.
