Lady Farmers top Forney, fall to Kaufman

by | Jan 18, 2024 | Sports

The Lady Farmers strong start to the new year continued last week. After picking up a pair of road wins in the opening week of January, they split their two games last week, defeating the Forney Jackrabbits 38-31 in a non-district match.

The girls led for most of the night in this one, with their defense playing a key role in taking an early advantage. In the first quarter, a steal by Alexia Hernandez on an inbound pass in the defensive zone turned into an easy layup to build their lead.
