$30K tax exemption approved

City councilmembers unanimously agreed to raise the local city homestead exemption from $10,000 to $30,000 for those qualifying as disabled or 65 and older for the next tax year.

This action was taken at the Tuesday, March 26, Farmersville City Council meeting after last month’s review of other cities and exemptions were granted.
