Communities across the nation are preparing for what many are calling a once-in-a-lifetime event.
Farmersville is no exception as the city, its residents and businesses are getting ready for a total solar eclipse that will occur on April 8. North Texas, considered a sort of “ground zero” for eclipse viewing, is preparing for an onslaught of visitors who want a glimpse of the moment when the moon passes in front of the sun, turning early-afternoon bright daylight into dark.
