Several people gathered along the Farmersville Parkway and downtown Monday, April 8, to witness the historic once-in-a-lifetime moment when the moon completely blocks the sun.
In downtown Farmersville, the crew at Fine Arts on Main kicked off its total solar eclipse tailgate at 10 a.m. with games like corn hole, chances to win prizes playing bingo, free glasses and music by DJP. J.C.’s Tacos and Hibbits Ice Cream were onsite with food available for purchase including an ‘eclipse moon pie’ special ice cream.
