Election results have just been reported by 100% of Collin County precincts for today’s local elections.
Farmersville ISD voters overwhelmingly passed Proposition A, a $98 million bond proposal to expand the district’s facilities.
Of the 1,168 votes cast, 774 (66.27%) voted for the proposition and 394 votes (33.73%) were cast against.
In Farmersville’s mayoral election, former councilmember Craig Overstreet defeated Mayor Bryon Wiebold by collecting 55.68% of the 625 votes cast.
Mike Henry received 430 votes, running unopposed, to retain his city council seat, Place 4.
