City budget focuses on key areas

Orange Street by the Dairy Queen is one of the streets in need of repairs.

At last week’s regular meeting of the Farmersville City Council, Mayor Craig Overstreet outlined the main focus areas for the upcoming budget.

The priorities identified at the Tuesday, June 25 meeting include emergency services, street improvements, the capital plan, code enforcement, revenue enhancement, parks, and administrative staffing.
