Volleyball roundup: Farmersville earns 20th win with sweep of Rains

In what was its final tune-up before District 13-4A play gets underway, Farmersville finished non-district play on a high note.

On Tuesday, Farmersville overcame a nip-and-tuck battle in the early-going to top Rains in three sets by scoring of 25-23, 25-18, 25-17.

The Lady Farmers improved to 20-12.

Farmersville is 7-2 in its last nine matches.

Farmersville commences 13-4A play at 4:30 p.m. Friday against Sunnyvale at Farmers Arena.
