The Farmersville City Council began its regular meeting on Monday, Nov. 18, by honoring former Police Chief and Assistant City Manager Mike Sullivan.

In the absence of Mayor Craig Overstreet, Mayor pro tem Mike Henry read a proclamation declaring Nov. 19, 2024, as “Michael Patrick Sullivan Day” in Farmersville, Texas. Sullivan’s widow, Tammie Sullivan, accepted the proclamation, which was signed by Mayor Overstreet.
