City endorses county ESD creation

The Farmersville City Council unanimously approved a resolution in support of Collin County forming an emergency services district (ESD) to provide fire and emergency services to residents in the city’s extraterritorial jurisdiction (ETJ).

The ultimate decision on establishing the ESD will be made by the county commissioners after reviewing petitions from multiple municipalities.
