gathered for the Historical Society Spring Luncheon, transforming the newly remodeled high school cafeteria into a scene straight out of Churchill Downs.
This year’s annual event, Saturday, March 15, themed the “Gala of Roses at the Farmersville Derby,” blended history, community and friendly competition. Attendees bid on silent auction items, purchased tickets for chances to win one of six high-value prizes and sipped mint juleps served by Historical Society member Jan Clark while showing off their Derby-inspired attire.
