Breakout seasons on the pitch rewarded for Farmersville on District 11-4A teams

The Farmersville boys’ and girls’ soccer teams were recently recognized for their play on the District 11-4A team.

The Farmer boys made the playoffs for the first time, while the Lady Farmers amassed one of their best seasons in program history and came up just one win short of making the postseason for the first time.

Below is the list of players from Farmersville that earned a spot on the all-district team:

Boys

Utility Player of the Year — Daniel Mendoza

First Team — Christian Aguilar, Jairo Acosta, Michael Vasquez

Second Team — Gustavo Ramos, Kevin Jurado, Yoan Pineda

Honorable Mention — Felix Hernandez, Juan Vargas, Luke Lair

Girls

Coach of the Year — Krystal Mikeska

Newcomer of the Year — Syah Surles

Utility Player of the Year — Natalie Taylor

First Team — Syah Surles, Yireida Hernandez, Morgan Cobb, Natalie Taylor

Second Team — Aberlie Marsh, Ashlynn Clark

Honorable Mention — Gwen Pangle, Kimberly Cuellar
