Trustees handled a brief agenda swiftly during the Farmersville ISD school board’s regular meeting Tuesday, April 29.
Most of the meeting took place in closed session to discuss two items: personnel employment—including administrative contracts for the 2025–26 school year—and a Texas Education Agency (TEA) District Vulnerability Assessment.
Board member Jason McTee was absent.
Before going into closed session, trustees unanimously approved the consent agenda, which included minutes from the previous meeting and monthly financial reports.
The board also approved a $15,000 budget amendment to fund student travel after a group of middle school students qualified for a national rocketry competition.
