Economic development report heard by council

Farmersville Economic Development Corporation (FEDC) Director Rodney Williams presented an update on business sector initiatives and progress at the June 2 city council meeting.

Williams shared data comparing fiscal year 2023-24 to 2024-25, highlighting growth in several areas. The approved budget increased from $447,800 to $664,080, and grant funding rose significantly—from $86,060 in 2023-24 to $348,253 in 2024-25.
