Former students of Larry Wisdom gathered this past weekend not just to celebrate their 50-year high school reunion—but to honor the man who helped shape their lives, on and off the stage.
The Farmersville High School Class of 1975 held its reunion Saturday, June 26, at The Hidden Jewel in Blue Ridge, joined by alumni from surrounding years. One of the event’s highlights was a tribute to Wisdom, who led the school’s theater program to its first University Interscholastic League One-Act Play title in 1975—a victory that helped launch one of the most successful directing careers in Texas high school theater history.
