Farmersville sophomore Landen Ware led the way for the Fightin’ Farmers at the Pilot Point Invitational with an eighth-place finish in 18:11. Junior Landon Green also cracked the top 20, placing 19th in 18:52. Sophomore Drew Crum followed in 27th at 19:10, while senior Brady Graham came in 82nd in 23:33.
On the girls’ side, junior Breelynn Pollard paced Farmersville in the varsity 3.2K, placing 30th in 13:45. Junior Dani Penazola finished 49th in 14:33, freshman Caroline Lindsey took 54th in 14:54, senior Daniella Jiminez placed 67th in 15:32 and senior Valerie Palmros came in 89th in 17:06.
Also competing for the Farmers were freshman Camille Pua (17:30), junior Amaris Alvarez (19:05), sophomore Delilah Gonzalez (19:35), Cristian Mejia (21:07), junior Bob Frech (22:42), sophomore Jesse Salinas (23:31), junior Landon Herrera (24:56), sophomore Emmanuel Flores (25:02), freshman Riley Hofmann (25:25), sophomore Malakai Tenhet (25:40), and juniors Leland Cortez (26:39) and Keegan Chapman (27:15).
Farmersville is scheduled to compete in the Castleberry Invitational on Friday.
