GREENVILLE – For the Farmersville Lady Farmers, they were hoping a change of scenery would bring with it a change of result against the North Lamar Pantherettes Tuesday night.

Unfortunately, for the second year in a row, the Pantherettes had the Lady Farmers number.

Despite a spirited effort, the Lady Farmers couldn’t break down the Pantherettes late in the fourth quarter as North Lamar eliminated Farmersville in a Class 4A Division II Bi-District championship contest by a score of 44-37 at Greenville High School.

The loss ends the Lady Farmers season at 18-11 overall, while the Pantherettes improve to 24-9 overall and will meet Brownsboro in the Area round of the playoffs.

Farmersville was led by Alexia Hernandez with 13 points followed by Gali Mathews with 11 points for the Lady Farmers. Katelynn McRay put in six points with Jachael Pearson scoring four points and Rileigh Blankenship putting in three points.
