Collin County commissioners on Monday approved a proposal to upgrade the county road improvement plan, using a hot mix formula that public works officials say will extend the lifespan of county road work.
The vote to upgrade the county road plan was unanimous, although County Judge Chris Hill noted that Commissioners Court will have to sign a court order formalizing the change once it is prepared.
Commissioners received an update on the county maintenance plan from Public Works Director Jon Kleinhecksel.
