District OKs bus purchase, recognizes athletes

Farmersville ISD trustees moved quickly through a light agenda Monday, April 27, approving the purchase of new buses to maintain student safety and reliability while also recognizing standout student-athletes.

Superintendent Micheal French told the board the investment is critical to daily operations.

“These buses are essential to making sure our students are transported safely and reliably every single day,” French said. “It’s important that we continue to invest in equipment that supports both our students and our staff.”
