Farmersville ISD dedicates new tennis complex

Under a bright Monday afternoon sun, Farmersville ISD officially dedicated the Marvin J. Schkade Tennis Complex, honoring a man whose legacy helped shape generations of students, athletes and educators within the district.

The ceremony, held on Monday, April 27, brought together school officials, community members, former students, athletes and family to celebrate Schkade’s 28 years of service to Farmersville ISD and the lasting impact he made both on and off the court.

Superintendent Micheal French opened the ceremony by recognizing the community effort behind the new facility, emphasizing the role of voters and taxpayers in making the project possible.
