Tax rate remains unchanged; sewer fees updated

Farmersville City Council kept the city’s property tax rate unchanged, amended sewer service fees and discussed potential new regulations for food trucks during its Monday, Sept. 21 meeting.

Council approved the final component of the city’s fiscal year 2026-27 budget, adopting the certified property tax roll and keeping the property tax rate at 72.5 cents per $100 of assessed valuation.

The adopted rate is below the city’s no-new-revenue rate of 74.0225 cents per $100 of valuation.
