by | May 5, 2022 | Area news, Life & Style

The perfect opportunity to support a local nonprofit by buying handmade one-of-a-kind Mother’s Day, teacher, graduation and wedding gifts, has arrived.

The Coventry Reserve, located at 2004 Parker Rd. in St. Paul, is hosting its annual Spring Pottery and Garden Boutique Saturday, May 7, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. The event is free to the public.

Aside from shopping, the event features complimentary cucumber sandwiches, scones, shortbread and flavored teas. The popular Signing Stars will perform on the hour.

For those interested in attending the special Mother’s Day Garden Brunch offered on site that same day at 9 a.m., tickets are $20 per person and limited to the first 50 people. The gourmet brunch will feature a floral demonstration by Horticulture Instructor Helene Wenck.

Coventry, a community day program for adults with special needs, provides its students enrichment and learning opportunities including art, horticulture, pottery making and much more at its facility in St. Paul.

Coventry pottery sales contribute 20-25% toward the annual budget which helps fund and promote awareness of the nonprofit.
