Rike Street was listed as number one priority on the Farmersville Street Priority List. The local street would go through reconstruction.

Mayor Craig Overstreet opened this week’s regular council meeting with a proclamation honoring a longtime veterinarian who served the community for 48 years.

At the Tuesday, May 28 meeting, Overstreet declared the date as “Houston Larry Lane Day” in the city of Farmersville.
