Farmersville High School Band members should be “tooting their own horns” after earning its 11th consecutive Sweepstakes Award at the Spring UIL Concert and Sight-Reading Contest last week at Pottsboro High School.

According to Band Director Scott Cross, the symphonic band received first-division ratings from all six judges, securing the prestigious Sweepstakes Award when combined with their first-division rating from the UIL Marching Contest.
