Farmersville ISD to use new registration system

by | Jun 4, 2026 | Area news, Education, Latest

Returning student registration for the 2026-27 school year in Farmersville ISD will open in July as the district prepares to transition to a new student information system.

District officials announced that parents and guardians of returning students will receive additional information and instructions in July on how to complete the registration process.

As part of the transition, Farmersville ISD is moving from the Ascender student information system to Skyward. The district said more details about the change and registration procedures will be provided to families during the summer.

In addition to returning student registration, Farmersville ISD is continuing to provide information for families interested in applying for prekindergarten, transferring into the district or enrolling new students.

District officials encourage parents and guardians to watch for future communications regarding registration deadlines, enrollment requirements and the rollout of the new Skyward platform.
